A multi touch OS running from linux. this will allow active done on a multi touch easy. making multi touch computers the answer.it will make running Phython multitouch and MT4j(Multitouch for Java) very easy as well as other MT apps/programs

I am interested in this...I may post a video soon of what I have done thus far.. Basically, my idea is to have a blank "home screen" with like icons and whatnot, and then the user puts 5 fingers down and rotates them 90 degrees clockwise, a circular menu opens up which is divided into 5 sections. (Apps, Games, Other, Faves, and Settings). This was my idea of a multitouch OS (kernel, of course).

This is an spectacular idea. My opinion is that a multi-touch device configuration panel must be created in such a way that it can manage new devices without drivers or core changes being needed. Since multi-touch interfaces are new to the mainline consumers new products are going to flood the market.
It would be nice to have a 0-knowledge no code new device configuration method that guides the user to configure it's new device by selecting frames of video, segments of usb transfered codes, tcp packets, etc.... and associate those with meaningful parts of the multi-touch concept such as points, blobs, pressure, etc...
